The James E. Taylor & Associates, Inc. has provided
Construction and Project Management services for their clients for the
past thirty-one years. This service provides exceptional building
design input, construction budgeting and cost control. This has been
exemplified by projects such as Halls Plaza Department Store, Starlight
Amphitheater, Milgram's Food Company, Dick Smith Ford, SouthEastern
Public Service, Western Resources, Hallmark Cards, State of Missouri and
other commercial and institutional construction projects. These same
services along with Real Estate related services are now being provided
through JET & Associates, L.L.C.

This firm was also responsible for the architectural
design of various renovation projects, both commercial and residential
for the Country Club Plaza, retail stores; high-rise and garden-type
apartment complexes and collegiate facilities. Mr. Taylor has served as
a member and Chairman of the Kansas City, Missouri Board of Zoning
Adjustment, Public Works Board member for the City of Leawood, Kansas as
well as a member of the Leawood Plan Commission. He has also
served as a City
Councilman for the Fourth Ward in the City of Leawood, Kansas.

The firm of James E. Taylor & Associates, Inc. Planners and Construction
Managers was formed and incorporated in July of 1967. James E. Taylor
Design Group, P.C. Architects and Designers was formed and incorporated
in 1983. In 1996, a woman-owned corporation (WBE) was formed, JET &
Associates, LLC, to offer professional Construction Management, Real Estate
services and Legal Expert Services.
In the past 45 years, James E. Taylor has provided a
variety of professional services including Feasibility Studies, Interior
Space Planning and Design, Urban Planning, Construction and Project
Management Services, Expert Witness for Litigation in the Circuit and
Federal Court Systems, Historic Facility Renovation and Financial
Evaluation, and American Disability Act Programming and Seminars.

JET & Associates, L.L.C., a WBE firm, has a staff of construction
specialist together with registered Architects and Engineers, i.e. James
E. Taylor Design Group, P.C.'s staff, who by their experience in
Building Design and Construction Methods and Means can clearly
communicate with the owner's Architects and Engineers for the project.
Their professional knowledge and experience can aid the Design Firm
during the preparation of Schematic Designs through the Contract
Document Phase by projecting cost of construction, value engineering
evaluation, site construction strategy, schedules of tasks and events,
etc.
All
majority corporation stocks in both corporations are owned and
controlled by Mr. James E. Taylor and Ms. Elizabeth Taylor-Fisher. Mr.
Taylor has been a licensed architect for over 45 years and Elizabeth
Taylor-Fisher has been in the Construction profession for 10 years.
Their experience has been widely varied. Mr. Taylor began as a staff
architect with the Third Army Special Services, was employed by the firm
of Kivett, Myers, and McCallum Architects/Engineers (i.e., presently
HNTB), where he served as project architect. In 1960, Mr. Taylor joined
the architectural firm of Edward W. Tanner and Associates, where he
served as an Associate until 1967. During this period, Mr. Taylor was
responsible for various architectural designs for J.C. Nichols Company,
including various shopping centers in the Kansas City Metro area,
apartment complexes, office buildings and industrial facilities.
Additionally, he was the Project Architect and Construction
Administrator for various Shawnee Mission School District projects,
Nallwood Junior High, South High School, as well as the original campus
and building for Missouri Southern University.

Ms. Taylor-Fisher was raised in the atmosphere of this industry, as well
as, attending the Architectural program at the University of Oklahoma.
She began her career in the Real Estate industry in residential
apartment management and later received her real estate license. She
joined her father's firm in 1992 and has been performing Construction
and Real Estate related responsibilities, such as construction
management, marketing, zoning and real estate transactions. |
