Represented wide range of clientele in state and federal courts,
administrative agencies and city and county governing boards. Areas
of law: corporate organization and management, employment
litigation, workers compensation, federal act violation (ADA, FMLA,
ERISA), landlord rights, collections, criminal and licensing.
Served as administrative hearing officer for Kansas Department of
Administration exclusively in water rights litigation.

General practice of law in commercial litigation in construction,
contracts, real estate, financing, bankruptcy, railroad mergers and
acquisitions, municipal and arbitration law. Additional clients
included developers, contractors and credit companies. Principal in
eight person office.

contract documents and implemented the oversight purchase and
rehabilitation of 466 miles of railroad as General Counsel for
the Mid States Port Authority.

Authority before the Kansas Legislature and various state and
federal agencies.

before Kansas legislature, various states administrative bodies
and in Washington D.C.
- * Served as a hearing examiner

Appointed by and reported to the Kansas Attorney General. Duties
included general litigation on behalf of municipal, civil and state
agencies.
- * Represented Kansas before the
Interstate Commerce Commission in the Southern Pacific
acquisition of certain Rock Island properties.
- * Specialized in bankruptcy,
state taxation and railroad law, particularly in the Rock Island
Railroad reorganization and tax matters in the U.S. District
Court, Northern Illinois District.
- * Worked closely with the DOT to
address a multitude of rail transportation problems.
