Mr. Galey has been a Construction
Manger/Engineer for more than 42 years. After receiving his degree
in Mechanical Engineering, he worked for Panhandle Eastern PipeLine
Company from 1957-1989. He performed various testing of equipment
associated with the natural gas industry. Mr. Galey designed and
acted as on-site engineer and material manager for major system
expansions and compressor station additions.
He has acted as a Legal Expert for JET &
Associates, L.C. from 1994 to present. Provides research,
evaluation, inspection, reports and recommendations for various
litigation matters for pipeline construction of natural gas and
petroleum products. These legal disputes were located on sites in
KS, MO and OK for Western Resource, Inc. and its' subsidiary
companies.
Manager of Quality Assurance for
Universal Ensco, 1998-1999. Provided on-site QA with staff of
seven. Responsible for integrity of design and construction of
$250M pipeline project from Quebec, Canada to Portland, Main.
Pipeline was located in portions of the states of Vermont, New
Hampshire and Main. The pipeline project initiated Portland Natural
Gas transmission systems.
Mr. Galey worked as Construction Manager
for Gulf Interstate Engineering Company, 1997. On-site construction
management of a $9MM expansion project to an existing facility for
Colorado Interstate Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of Coastal
Corporation. Project involved the installation of two gas turnlines
and centrifugal compressors.
Shaffer, Kline & Warren, 1995-1996. As
a Construction Consultant, provided design, construction and
contract administration services involving projects for Missouri Gas
Energy and the City of Macon, Missouri.
Past affiliations and memberships
include: American Gas Association, Non-Destruction Testing
Committee and Blasting Committee. Member of Kansas Engineering
Society and National Engineering Society 1983-1988
